Overall the two weeks was excellent staff, guides etc could not do enough for us.
We had a wonderful trip on the Nile and all the travel arrangements went smoothly. Your representative in Cairo was most helpful. We have spoken with friends about the trip and emphasized the skillful organization and service of all concerned. Two friends have expressed interest in a future trip on the Nile.
An excellent overview of Egyptian History, Art, Historic sites and culture. A beautiful ship, SS Misr, with a superb crew. We were very well looked after and the food was most enjoyable. Meticulous attention was paid to our personal safety.
This cruise was everything i wanted it to be ! Fantastic crew service attended by marvellous and interesting team members – wonderful and amazing sites, superbly organised – all our needs were cared for right down to the imaginative “towel animals” on our beds .
The overall evaluation of the cruise was excellent. The coordination between boat and buses worked smoothly. A special word of recommendation for the two coach drivers who were safe and excellent drivers. All the facilities on the boat were good:it was clean. The crew were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful with a good choice. A great trip and we shall recommend to our friends.
The cruise has been excellent, the staff very helpful, efficient & fun! Our guides were superb, but i enjoyed being a Pharoah! Will always remember being a Paroah. All the entertainment has been too enjoyable. The lectures were wonderful & very informative helping us to enjoy all our visits. A cruise not to be forgotten!!
It is not often that we have a hospitality experience so exceptional that I feel compelled to write about it at length, yet my recent trip to Egypt with Noble Caledonia aboard the SS Misr last month was one of those unforgettable, once in a life time experiences.
The Traveline team were way beyond guides and drivers. Anwar is so special in ways he already knows but they do need to be mentioned. The way Anwar integrated with George on the boat and on the sites made the trip even more remarkable. The security people were helpful, obvious but not intrusive. One of them was very helpful with our travel friends. I could go on with Judith keeping the ball rolling but you know that already. Also, I know that others are writing reviews of their own. They are more articulate than I am. Please pass this on to as many people as you can.
We have recently returned from a most enjoyable trip down the Nile from Assuan to Cairo. Apart from wanting to mention our guides, we were also most impressed by the security precautions and, last but not least, by the efficiency and friendliness of the staff on board. The meals were excellent

I hope I can come back soon on the SS Misr. It has been the most enjoyable holiday of a life time. Everything was great and superb!!!! Mostly the kindness of every member of the SS Misr crew.
My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Egypt made all the more memorable by our seven night stay cruising the Nile on SS Misr. We love staying in traditional surroundings and it did not disappoint. I especially loved the sepia photographs lining the walls of the elegant dining room and comfortable wicker armchairs on deck. Well-chosen Belle Époque furnishings throughout gave the ship a period feel of which I'm sure Agatha Christie would have approved! I loved the attention
